GOTHIC BEAUTY: What we learned from Lily-Rose Depp’S Nosferatu PRESS TOUR

If you are anything like us, you have been obsessing over the perfectly smoked out, cool-girl make-up Lily-Rose Depp has been sporting during her press tour for Nosferatu. Whether you saw the movie and didn’t sleep for days (not me!) or just enjoyed the press tour from afar, it can’t be denied that she has been creating some incredible looks with her team. And the good news? We have everything you need at Adore Beauty to re-create this look for Autumn.
Shine for days (or eternity)
Lily Rose’s Nosferatu character’s long dark mane gave us serious hair envy during the movie, but we were even more enamored with the perfectly smooth, glossy locks she presented with at the premiere. Hair this good starts in the shower, and we recommend begining with Davines HEART OF GLASS Intense Treatment. A salon favourite, this mask has been formulated to enhance the radiance and strength of natural or coloured hair. Apply to towel dried hair after shampooing and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.
Follow up with Color WOW Extra Strength Dream Coat Spray before styling to lock in that visible-from-outer-space shine. This humidity-proof wonder is light weight and leaves hair glossy and frizz free for up to three washes.
Keep it cool toned
Combining fresh skin, a smoked-out liner and a cool toned, barely-there lip - this look is sure to give you all of the cool-girl vibes.
Skin: A light to medium coverage foundation such as Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation will give you that lit from within, red carpet glow, without feeling too heavy. Pair it with a cool toned contour stick such as the Dior Forever Skin Contour Stick in your shade, to emphasise the cheek bones (Hey - we can’t all have Vanessa Paradi’s genes!). Sweep a small amount just below your natural cheekbone and blend upwards towards your ears using a brush. A subtle sweep of a cool toned blush such as the M.A.C Cosmetics Glow Play Blush in the shade True Harmony will add that flush of colour to the cheeks. Finish by patting Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Highlighter on the top of your cheek, brow bones and inner corners of the eye for an ethereal glow.
Eyes: Huda Beauty's Icy Nude 18W Palette is a great palette to achieve Lily-Rose’s eye look. Start by sweeping the shade High Life across the entire eye with a loose eyeshadow brush, before going in with a small amount of the shade Unapologetic to lightly carve out the eye socket and define the lash line. Use the same shade and a small liner brush to map out where you will place your liner, before going in with a liquid such as elf Cosmetics Expert Liquid Liner to add a subtle wing. Don’t forget to line your water line with a pencil such as Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Eyeliner Midnight Black. Finish by smoking out the bottom lash line with the shade High Life from the Huda Beauty Icy Nude 18W Palette. Finish with your favourite mascara.
Lips: Use M.A.C Cosmetics Lip Pencil in the shade Greige to lightly overline the lips, leaving the centre bare. Finish by patting L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Nudes Of Worth Volume Matte Intense Lipstick in the shade 505 Le Nude Resilient in the centre of the lips, using your finger.
